Can RFID tags be read with WLAN Access point?

i am doing my course work and trying to figure out can RFID tags can be ready using WLAN Access point or do we have to use RFID reader to read tags?

RFID works with a physical device (the "tag", which doesn't have to be in the form of a tag) and a transceiver to transmit to it and receive the response. I can't even come up with a concept of a use for RFID in a WAP.

Quite large power outage here in Cologne. My MiFi is the only Access Point I can see (normally got 7-10). Called Rheinenergie.

You will probably pay more for an access point to add to your hub and do the same job. Use a wireless router and sell your hub.
