RFID based attendence system
Since we have to dispatch the project in the end..we r not sure whether we have to send the RFID reader also along with the code.nothing has been specified in their website.its a contest by ibm. if anyone has any idea..do respond as early as possible
Your project could be broken into two parts - the hardware with the RFID cards and the reader, and the software, which could simulate many readers, people, and classrooms. you should probably be able to demonstrate how your hardware scales so that it could be placed on every door, and how collects all the data. perhaps you can demonstrate the hardware with a video, and only send the application with the simulator. the simulator could have random "people" heading from one destination to another, at random speeds, with random stops along the way. the system could show what is known about the people's locations as they pass by the various sensors.
